♥ I'm back home for the summer, which means regular internet. I loved living on campus but we were so far on the end of campus that the signal we got was weak at best. Unfortunately, my computer appears to be on its last legs. I'm pretty sure that it has a virus and it slow and laggy and keeps freezing. Hopefully since I'm working I'll be able to get a new one in a few weeks.

♥ I'm working part time right now, only 20 hours a week but I'm looking for a second job, if not a third. I was originally going to try and get my car fixed up to take to school next semester, but now with my laptop dying I'm gonna be short some cash. Plus there's a chance my tuition my be short next semester. *stress*

♥ I'm currently trying to finish up my kradambigbang fic since it's due soon. I'm wanting to finish my beetlejuice!AU. Other than that I'm working on my art for the fic I claimed for bandombigbang and trying to get that fic finished as well.

♥ I know I'm not around a lot but I've been spending more time on tumblr. I'm still solarbaby614 on there if you wanna hit me up! I don't know why it's so addictive. O_O

♥ I gave in and got a tumblr here. I don't really know what I'm going to do with it yet. I've reblogged a couple of things and poster a few of my posters and picspams. I'm still iffy about keeping it.

♥ Jane by Design was canceled! My heart! It cries! ;.;

♥ I've moved onto campus at school! I love my new room here (because I have my own room for the first time ever and I'm sharing a suite with three other people who are all awesome. XD

♥ Professional Griefers!!! The music video rocks and I went out and bought the single on iTunes. Thanks to akamine_chan I have the video so I've been watching it on my blu ray player on repeat. I love that USB port on the player. It makes my life so much better. There should be Professional Griefers art coming soon as well.

♥ Happy Halloween everyone! There really isn't anything to do around here for halloween so I went out to eat with my mom and watched halloween movies. I'm surprised I didn't crash today. I stayed up til four last night watching Xena.

♥ I turned in my journeystory fic. I haven't completely finished it but I have most of it done. There's at least another 5000 words that need to be written for it to be done though. I'm working on my piratebb fic now.

♥ I'm sort of participating in NaNoWriMo this month. I'm still going for the 50000 words but I'm doing multiple fics. It totally counts. >.>

♥ anon_lovefest is one of my favorite new comms. Just so ya know.

♥ Speaking of comms, I've created a new one. Has anyone else watched My Babysitter's A Vampire. Well if you haven't then go do that right now. I've created a comm for the fandom. Let me introduce you to bbabysitter_vamp. And yes, I do slash there.

Beetlejuice!Fusion Kradam Progress

♥ I got a bit of progress done for my beetlejuice!fusion fic during ficfinishing , which is nice. But I spent one day changing the tenses in it cause I woke up and decided, 'hey, I should write this in present tense'. We'll see how that turns out. Also, this now has a poster for it I made on Paint, which doesn't actually suck but will remain unseen until I can come up with a title for the fic.

♥ I signed up for two more bingos, au_bingo  and kradingo , which bring my bingo card running count to four. Thank god my ability to wrirte smut is pretty much nonexistant cause kink_bingo  would kill me.

♥ I started writing an Kradam fic where Adam's a fashion designer and Kris is is assistant for the kradam_ai Summer Heat Wave challenge but then I realized the first prompt was secrets and not surprise like I had originally thought.

♥ In other fandom news, I've been neglecting my other fics cause of my shiny new fandom but I'm trying. There's a Rasey fic I'm working on for one of my bingo prompts and my mirror!verse Luke/Jack fic is getting worked on.

♥ I might be getting a job in the school's financial aid office for work-study but interviews aren't until September. So cross your fingers.

♥ I've been working on a fae!Kradam fic for the past few weeks and a beetlejuice!Kradam fic for the past few days. All my other fics have been pretty much put on the back burner until they're finished.

♥ I never finished my reel_merlin  fic or my numb3rs_bigbang  fic. Ooops... Writers block sucks.

♥ Also, deep fried pickles are greater for writers block. Remember that! XD

♥ And in a non-fic note, I've gotten a new pair of sandals which I adore cause they have solid gold colored lizards on the top. They're uncomfortable but so pretty that it doesn't matter.

I registered for my classes for the fall semester today. It went fine; the only bump in the road was me having to go to the registration office so they could go in and enroll me in my American Literature class. I tried myself but it kept telling my that I needed to take Comp II to take the class but I had taken it at my last college and it transferred.

Plus my computer's finally crapped out on me. It had been going on and off for a while now but something happened and now I'll start it and it'll work fine for 5-10 minutes then freeze and I'll have to restart it. I'm still hoping to work with that 5-10 minutes to get 10 icons done in time for the Shelter 20in20 due this Sunday. I also need to start working back on my numb3rs_bigbang fic and reel_merlin fic.

So today's kinda sucked for me. I made a C on my MacroEcon exam because I misunderstood what she said and didn't write the formulas and then I lost my memory stick (which had my whole Geographical Speech on it).

I am typing this from my mothers computer as I speak.

I was happily web surfing a long not an hour ago and I ended up with a virus on my computer. Now everytime I start it, after I log in, all it gives me is this Vista Internet Security 2010 thing. That's all. No back ground, no icons, no... whatever that bar at the bottom of the screen is called.

So now I have to go get my computer wiped again. He said it would be about 100 dollars. So I just turned my computer off and am going to leave it alone until I can get the money together. Which will be a while.

Thank god I backed all my stuff up on that external hard drive.

So I'm having to take my computer in tomorrow to have it looked at. Lately I'd been on the recieving in on one very annoying blue screen saying something about a memory dump and to restart it. I first got it a few weeks ago and I did what I usually do when faced with problems.

I ignored it.

But I've gotten more and more lately. My computer would freeze more often too. I'm not sure what the problem is. Someone told me it might be a virus (which I kinda hope is true; then its only 50 dollars to remove it) or hardware failure. If it's hardware failure I don't know if putting money into my laptop is worth it. It's already three years old.

I do want to get a new one. People tell me Windows 7 is much better than Vista. But if I do get my gateway fixed I might see about getting it switched over to 7. The only problem is that it'll be a few months before I can get the rest of my financial aid to buy one. Then I'll have to buy Microsoft Home and Office to put on my computer again. I read somewhere that Microsoft is going to have to stop making Microsoft Word. I'm not sure if this is true.

So I want to ask my f-list this. Does anyone know if it costs to get your computer changed over from Vista to 7 and if so what is the price range? And, if I do change it over, will I loose what I have stored on there? Like my programs and videos and stuff?




On an alternate note, I have a doctor's appointment next week. I've had to put back 300 dollars for it because I lost my insurance when I turned 20. But I need to go back and they said I'd get a discount because I don't have insurance.

And a few of you know about how crappy my car is. Its a green neon thats over 10 years old and, while I love it, it has serious problems. I just put about 400 dollars into the thing to get a water pump replaced. But I still can't drive over two miles. My radiator has been busted for the better part of two years. I've had to put water in it in the morning before I leave for school. I also have a plug that's also been broken off in my engine. God knows how long its been in there but they'll have to take off the head to get it out which will cost about 500. But now my car jerks when its in reverse and I can't take it up very steep hills.

However, my mother said she would see about trading the Neon in. She drives to the next town over for work and has put a lot of miles on it since she got it last year. She's going to need a new one anyways. So she said we'd see how much it would cost to trade in my Neon and get a new one. She'd take the new one and I'd take the one she has now. I like the idea because I can finally look for a job. My Neon limited my search area around here. We're going to look at the cars today. The only issue is that my mother would have to take on another car payment until I can get a job.

For school, I'm looking at another year before I can graduate. I already spent two years at a university but only 5 hours worth of credits actually transferred, which sucks so much. I have to get my basic classes out of the way next year. But as of May of 2011 I should have my Associates in Accouting, unless something else screws up.


Fandomwise, I've been trying to work on my numb3rs_bigbang  fic but that hasn't been gonig well. I've also been working on a fic for shelter_diner 's Valentine's Day Fest. Its a Shelter AU where Shaun is actually a Cupid. But I don't know if it's going to get finished in time. I have been having strange Shelter bunnies. Like the Shaun as an alien invader. It was strange and kinky.

So I'm trying desperately to finish up a few fics for smallfandomfest  before Sunday. I also want to start working on my numb3rs_bigbang  fic which is a Numb3rs mob!AU for any of you who were wondering.

I've also been struck with this strange idea for a Leverage/White Collar fic. I've already written Parker and Neal as siblings (which I'm still working on), now I want to write them as a couple. The idea's still vague, mostly just Parker working as an 'Agent' with the White Collar team for a con. Possibly against Fowler? I'm not sure. Its still a work in progress.

The OC is a fandom I've loved since it originally began and I've been big Ryan/Seth shipper. Is it strange that I want to write an OC Prison!AU now?

On an alternate note, I need to upgrade my account so I can get more icons. I have too many fandoms and not enough slots. ;.;

Jeez... this is the first time that it's snowed this much in past few years. Last year we got close to none and I don't remember any that laid the year before. But I took pictures with my phone for those who'll want to see. I took them while I was under my carport.
