It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.

I'm there. The kids are in purple, head to toe, and I'm wearing purple everything (except for jeans).

Awesome! I was dressed in purple too but I almost forgot. I found my purple tanktop and purple see through shirt just by chance. I did get to well my flipflops with the big jewels on them though. XD That made me happy.

I didn't see many people wearing purple unfortunately. Of course I was at work most of the time and since the school was technically on fall break, we didn't get a lot of people coming in (I work at the schools financial aid department).
