NaNoWriMo: Update

I'm only 3848 words into the fic asnd I'm already hit a block. I know what I want to do but its just getting it there that's the problem. Until then I bring you all a snippet that may or may not stay in the fic.


“Come on, Bones. It’s not that bad.”

That caused Reaper to freeze before turning to look at Jim. Before Jim knew what had happened he found himself pulled into a dark alleyway and pushed up against the wall. “Not that bad? Tell me Jim, why do you go to a bar looking for a fight?”

“I wasn’t…” Jim trailed off at the look in his friend’s eyes. He shrugged.

“Tell me,” Reaper purred, moving forward and pinning Jim against the wall. “Do you get off on getting beat up? Is that it?” With one swift move, he had Jim spun around against the wall, arms twisted up behind him in an uncomfortable position. “Tell me,” he demanded.

“No.”

“What was that?”

“No. No, I don’t! Fuck, Bones.” His arms were released but Bones hadn’t moved away.

If there's going to be 47000 more words like that I'm definetely in for the read! And I know the feeling about having to get the story to where you realy want to have it but not quite getting there. I had that as well, still think the fisrt 5000 words or so I typed are complete crap, just to get me to where I want the story to be, but after that it just all clicked together and I've been typing for three nights in a row now being absolutely happy what is coming out of my fingers. So just keep at it!
